1. About these terms
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the East Lancs Roleplay Community website, Discord server, FiveM server, CAD systems, forms, applications, and related community services. By creating an account, applying to join, linking Discord, or using any of the community systems, you agree to follow these terms.
2. Community access
You must provide accurate information when registering, applying, or linking your Discord account. Access to the community is a privilege, not a right. Applications, rank access, callsigns, whitelist status, and permissions may be approved, refused, restricted, suspended, or removed at staff discretion.
3. Account security
You are responsible for keeping your account details secure and for all activity carried out through your account. You must not share your login, impersonate another member, or attempt to access areas of the website, Discord, or server that you are not permitted to use.
4. Rules of conduct
When using the community website, Discord, or server, you must follow community rules, staff instructions, and any service-specific procedures. This includes, without limitation, expectations around respectful conduct, realistic roleplay, appropriate language, fair play, no exploitation of bugs, and no attempts to disrupt community systems, CAD tools, bookings, or other members.
5. Applications, roles, and permissions
Applications, division assignments, Discord roles, website permissions, command access, supervisor access, HR tools, and booking permissions are controlled by community staff and automated systems. Acceptance into one division or role does not guarantee continued access, promotion, or permanent membership. Roles may be changed if your application, activity, conduct, or staffing needs change.
6. Bookings, CAD, and operational tools
Website booking tools, Discord role syncing, CAD displays, callsigns, and related systems are provided to support gameplay and community management. You must not deliberately submit false bookings, misuse callsigns, interfere with operational systems, or use staff or command tools outside their intended purpose.
7. Community content
Any forms, applications, messages, text, images, or other content you submit to the website or community systems may be used for moderation, staffing, administration, or operational purposes within the community. You must not upload unlawful, abusive, malicious, or infringing content.
8. Availability and changes
The website, Discord integrations, booking systems, and FiveM server may be changed, paused, restricted, or removed at any time. Features may break, be redesigned, or be unavailable without notice. The community is not responsible for downtime, failed bookings, lost access, or loss of in-game progress resulting from maintenance, bugs, technical issues, or moderation decisions.
9. Enforcement
Breaches of these terms or community rules may result in warnings, application refusal, suspension, removal of website access, removal of Discord roles, server bans, or any other action reasonably considered necessary by community staff.
10. No warranties
The community website and related systems are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. No guarantee is given that services will always be available, error-free, secure, or suitable for any particular purpose.
11. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the website, Discord, or server after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
